About This Team

The goal of the product design team is to transform our Super App into a cohesive and engaging product that guides our users seamlessly through our fintech, travel experiences. This app is relatively new, and there’s a lot of work to be done designing new features, building links between experiences and improving the overall quality of our product. About This Role

This role is instrumental in shaping the voice and user experience across our mobile app, and through that, help establish the practice of content design at Super.com. You’ll work directly with product designers, PMs, brand designers, and engineers to create and shape intuitive, data-driven, products and services that deliver a cohesive language and a unified branded voice across products and platforms. Approaching design through the lens of language, you leverage your expertise in user experience design, design thinking, and product strategy to design and deliver product flows, new features, in-product language, content frameworks, navigation, product naming and more.

Responsibilities

  • Design, write, edit, and test clear, compelling user-centered content that enhances the usability of our products and encourages user engagement by optimizing content to match the customer journey and drive impact
  • Develop content strategies that align with our business goals and meet the needs of our diverse customer base on digital and mobile platforms
  • Guide end-to-end content design process for the Super.com app, and strive to establish cohesive language and a unified branded voice across products and platforms
  • As the content design expert on your team, you regularly use empathy, logic and hard data to inform content choices that streamline the experience and remove friction from the experience
  • Collaborate daily with peers across disciplines, including engineering, design, research, marketing and data science, to take products from conception to launch
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and help shape product narratives, along with team direction and strategy
  • Conduct content audits and gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and innovation within our existing content frameworks
  • Utilize data and user feedback to refine and optimize content, ensuring it meets the standards of clarity, compliance, and persuasiveness
  • Establish style guides, best practices, and standards for content across all platforms
  • Incorporate content guidelines and best practices to our Design System

About You

  • 5+ years of content design or UX writing experience
  • Experience working within and contributing to design systems
  • Experience simplifying and communicating complex ideas to broad audiences in a compelling way.
  • Demonstrated communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills that clearly communicate complex concepts across different audiences and levels of the organization
  • A proven ability to evaluate the customer and business impact of your design decisions
  • Achieved mastery of a core set of design skills in content strategy, UX writing, and information architecture
  • Familiarity with tools for managing and updating content at scale.
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects with minimal direction and handling a large degree of ambiguity.
  • Comfortable with UX and Usability terminology, taxonomies and practices, including Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design methods, to solve problems and innovate
  • Knows how and when to use inventories and audits, content frameworks, competitive analysis and mapping
  • Experience working on “0-1” consumer products in a startup environment
  • Experience leveraging user research and quantitative data to inform decisions

  • Experience mentoring and coaching designers and other cross functional partners on content design and how to best leverage the expertise to drive impact, both for the customer and the business
