THE ROLE As a Salesforce Core Architect, you will support client projects, and presales activity, and contribute to the overall SFCC & Core Practices. The ideal candidate will have experience with SFCC, Sales & Service Cloud, certified with numerous enterprise project deployments. This role requires architecture knowledge, sales engineering excellence, and the ability to create SFCC & Core best practices and standards within a globally distributed environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Work collaboratively with our cross-functional teams to support Salesforce Core Products like Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2B solutions, Service Cloud and Sales Cloud and other emerging core Salesforce products Analysis, implementation, and development leadership of technical solutions on SFCC B2B, Core & SOM. Architect modern, scalable software Technical thought leader and mentor for other developers Integrate with major external systems including ERP, CRM, OMS, payment gateway system, middleware, and other systems as required by project scope Participation in post-sales technical scoping, requirements and solution evaluation, & review Evaluating clients’ 1st and 3rd party data integration, technology vendor requirements, and participating in developing integration strategies for the platform Assist with preparation of client-facing technical communication and documentation Keep up to date with all industry changes and the latest methodology within the commerce industry Qualifications & Experience : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 3+ years experience with Salesforce Products like Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2B Solutions, Salesforce Order Management, Sales & Service Cloud 8+ years of software development experience 2+ years leading software development teams Solid experience and knowledge with: OO JavaScript Restful API architectures Unit and Integration Testing Gitflow Payment gateways Preferred Skills: 2+ years in the client-facing role – internal or external Strong integration and architectural knowledge of SFCC, Salesforce Core or major Commerce Applications. Working knowledge of server-level infrastructure as applied to Salesforce Core, Salesforce Commerce & other Salesforce Product builds Strong understanding of Design Patterns Good team player who can work with people of all levels/backgrounds Strong problem-solving skills Strong communication skills Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; and database software. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we’re flexible.
