Job Description Job Description Position: Data Analyst Intern Reporting To: Sr. Scientist II, AI Position Objective The successful candidate for this internship position will leverage a variety of data science and machine learning techniques to help the innovation of lipid nanoparticle (LNP) based nucleic acid drug delivery systems at Nitto BioPharma, Inc. Major Job Functions Participate in data collection, curation, sanity check, QA/QC and exploratory analysis Participate in predictive machine learning model building, model evaluation, feature evaluation, and feature engineering. Participate in literature survey and exploratory algorithm studies. Education, Licensure and/or Experience Majoring or experienced in biomedical related fields with quantitative computational education a plus. Course works on statistics and informatics is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work well in collaborative fast-paced cross-functional team environment. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on biomedical research experience is appreciated. Understanding of the multimodality pharma domain datasets. Python and R Data analysis projects demonstrating related skills. Cross-functional teamwork experience Physical Job Requirements: Office/Lab environment. Lifting to 20 pounds may be required.
