Become a part of it – we have a position reserved for you! We are looking for a committed personality to further strengthen our team as a Data Engineer (f/m/d) at duisport. As part of the Data & Analytics team, you will work in close cooperation with our IT and specialist departments to provide a first-class, high-performance data warehouse infrastructure in the Microsoft Azure Cloud.
Your tasks? Exciting!
- You design, develop and manage data pipelines and data models in the Azure Cloud with the Azure Data Factory and a third-party tool for data vault modeling
- You evaluate and implement various options for data integration and storage in the Azure Cloud
- You will be responsible for the overall administration and support of our BI infrastructure in the Azure Cloud, including monitoring, performance optimization and troubleshooting
- You create and maintain detailed documentation on our BI infrastructure to ensure a smooth transfer of knowledge and traceability of processes
- You proactively contribute your expertise to the further development of our data strategy in the company and show interest in new trends and developments to optimize our infrastructure
- You actively support the strategy project and also tackle strategic topics in the area of data and analytics
Your profile? Versatile!
- You have a degree in business informatics, computer science or a related field
- You already have several years (at least 3) of relevant professional experience in data engineering and business intelligence
- You have good database development skills and experience in building data warehouses, ideally in the Azure Cloud
- You have a high level of analytical thinking, a structured way of working and demonstrate strong communication skills
- You are open to new technologies and show a willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics
- You show initiative and the ability to proactively contribute ideas and suggestions for improvement
