This role is pivotal in driving our data engineering projects ensuring high-quality solutions that meet our healthcare sector clients needs. Roles & Responsibilities Own the design and implementation of scalable data solutions using Data Build Tool and Snowflake. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver comprehensive data strategies. Ensure data quality and integrity in our Payer and Provider domain projects. Optimize data processing and storage for efficient retrieval and analysis. Stay on top of industry trends and advancements in data technology to drive innovation. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Develop and maintain documentation for data architectures processes and workflows. Implement security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Solve and resolve sophisticated data issues to ensure optimal performance. Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and encourage standard processes. Qualifications Demonstrable experience with Data Build Tool and Snowflake is essential. Proven background in the Payer and Provider domains with a deep understanding of their data requirements. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical team members. A great teammate with a track record of leading projects to successful completion. Continuous learner open to embracing new technologies and methodologies to tackle challenges. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science Information Technology or related field is helpful. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 6/21/2024. The annual salary for this position is between $82,000 to $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
