System One is looking for a Data Warehouse Engineer, with for a 100% Remote role. -Experience with Python, Glue (AWS tool), and DataLake (or Data Lake) are must haves. Candidates must have very strong SQL, and a strong API building skill set Candidates must be W2 (no corp-to-corp, no 1099’s) As a member of our team your primary responsibility will be the creation and maintenance of our Data Warehouse and surrounding integrations. The Data Warehouse is critical to service departments of the company allowing those departments to access and perform all aspects of our business. General Accountabilities: This position participates as a technical expert in data warehouse development and support. This position must have the ability to oversee or assist in multiple projects while supporting existing processes in place and includes design, development, coding, testing, and debugging. Accordingly, this position must have recent hands-on experience with the ability to learn other technologies to assist other team members with tasks. The Data Warehouse Engineer will be part of a two-person team focused on maintaining and enhancing our data warehouse platform with the plan to transition data processing to AWS technologies. The position interacts with all levels within the IT organization. A project basis includes interaction with Business departments, IT Services Delivery, IT Finance/Contract Management, and vendors to accomplish the project’s needs.
