ROLE: Delivery Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a results-driven and client-focused Delivery Manager to oversee the successful delivery of projects within our organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organisational objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to provide updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.
- Coordinate project teams, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and resolving any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful delivery.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the project team, implementing best practices and driving efficiencies.
- Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate performance, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for future enhancements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, leveraging insights to enhance project delivery processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field preferrable.
- Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Experience working in public sector is a plus.
- PMP or similar certification is desirable.
