DevOps Engineer Lead at Lukka #vacancy #remote

  • 7-10 years of work experience  building, scaling and maintaining production services , and understanding of how to compose a  microservice or  serverless architecture .
  • 2+ years of experience architecting and designing distributed systems, with deep knowledge of how such systems are  maximized for performance , availability and fault tolerance, and properly instrumented for monitoring health and readiness.
  • A university degree, ideally in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field or equivalent commercial experience.
  • Good understanding of various communication protocols, particularly  REST and gRPC .
  • Good understanding of asynchronous event processing.
  • Must have  RDBMS familiarity, with real experience with database design and queries.
  • Ability to build system architecture and make judgments with recommendations regarding technology solutions – Terraform experience expected.
  • Solid background in building and maintaining  CI/CD pipelines ( Gitlab preferred).
  • Strong background in  Cloud infrastructure, specifically  AWS Kubernetes and  Terraform experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of various SDLC methodologies, including  Agile .
  • Excellent communication skills, team-first mentality, mission-oriented, humble, positive attitude, great composure under pressure.
  • A hands-on, thought leader.
  • Deep background working in partnership with other teams within the organizations such as Product, Operations, Support, and Development.
