Growing Cyber Security Services firm and 2023 Top Work Places to Work recipient seeks an experienced Director to lead a segment of the firm’s cybersecurity pipeline, from identification/capture through delivery management/oversight. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity in the federal sector to include one or more of the following: FISMA compliance, risk management, security operations, security engineering, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC), Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and be capable of leading multiple delivery teams to deliver high-quality software services and solutions on time and within budget. Responsibilities : Cultivate new and existing client relationships to understand customer business needs and mission objectives to help identify the right services and products to deliver. Develop, coordinate and assist in pitches, presentations, proposals and responses to RFPs. Build strong teaming partnerships to fill technical, management, past performance and key staff gaps for RFPs. Negotiate teaming agreements and exhibits detailing workshare or functional area expectations. Conduct research and analysis on clients, industries and competitors to help identify industry trends and new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients. Network within industry to identify leads and build strategic partnerships. Identify and recruit exceptional talent to grow the firm’s capabilities in cybersecurity, and delivery of cybersecurity engagements. Oversee multiple delivery teams to ensure high-quality deliverables for customers. Manage client sponsors and managers and understand the business needs and overall mission of their customers. Help develop and implement methodologies and processes. Ensure portfolios of projects are completed on time and within budget. Identify opportunities to improve customer processes and implement best practices. Demonstrate a strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and trends. Help cross-functional teams collaborate to develop product and service solutions that meet business requirements. Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships to ensure that the organization has the tools and resources it needs to complete its projects successfully. Responsibilities Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. 4-6+ years supporting various aspects of capture of public sector opportunities associated with cybersecurity. 8-10+ years of experience leading cybersecurity teams in the public sector. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities. Industry recognized cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc) strongly preferred.
