Drilling and Workover Manager

LOCATION: Budapest Hungary/Zagreb Croatia

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To manage the design, construction and logistics tasks, including related activities to the well construction of MOL Plc Hungary and INA, as well as the financing capabilities of the fields and projects.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinating the knowledge and application of the most advanced well drilling and preparation technologies and material management processes, specialised technical knowledge, the use of extensive and complex practical procedures among the organisations under their control, with particular emphasis on drilling, reservoir engineering and information acquisition technologies. Supporting the implementation of the well drilling part of the division’s business plan in in all relevant countries by managing the well drilling activities from the design, construction and logistical point of view, supervising the related economic processes in order to achieve the economic optimum in cooperation with the related organisation. Approving the planned well works’ engineering and cost estimates (AFE) prepared in collaboration with partner organisations, based on the guidelines and professional standards provided.

Selection of contractors and suppliers for the service activities and material assurance of well works In cooperation with the other relevant organisations (e.g., Procurement, Legal). Managing the preparation of the joint MOL-INA well operations (drilling, workovers and other interventions) schedule, including the stakeholder coordination processes between the relevant organisations.

Developing planning, material management, performance monitoring and evaluation and cost monitoring systems during well work. Managing the preparation of the MOL and INA domestic equipment well workover lane schedule, the stakeholder coordination processes between the relevant organisations.

Coordinating the work of the department under their direction, establishing and developing uniform technological, supervisory and logistical professional standards, motivating employees appropriately, setting an example and measurable KPI’s. Providing and developing the resources, both human and material, for outbreak prevention and response. Harmonizing operations and processes between MOL and INA. Ensure standardized well delivery processes across countries and efficiencies in total well cost. Paticipating in the technical consultation and decision-making forums (TCM, SHM) resulting from the involvement of partners in domestic well drilling operations, with the involvement and delegation of the managers who manage the work of the organisations, while keeping in mind and defending the professional and economic interests of the MOL and INA.

REQUIREMENTS

University degree/oil engineer 15 years professional experience in multinational environment 5 years managerial background Kowledge about Oil and/or Mining Industry Well Controll exam (IWCF SV level) is a huge advantage
