Embedded Software Systems Test Engineer at Applied EV #vacancy #remote

AEV is looking for a talented Embedded Software Systems Test Engineer to join our growing team. The candidate will report to the Senior Operations Manager .

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • Deliver highly reliable embedded software systems for automotive spec hardware, including battery management systems, motor drivers, body control and communications modules
  • Work in a professional cross-functional team environment to develop new products, from prototype through production
  • Take ownership of our state of the art test tools, processes and methods, including traceability matrix and writing documentation
  • Follow the safety-critical testing processes and implement/execute a fully automated test environment for safety critical systems

Requirements

  • An Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in embedded software systems testing in the automotive and/or robotics industries
  • Experience with manual and full automation testing
  • Highly skilled in building and executing testing against black-box, white-box, regression, performance, boundary, functional, non-functional, stress and safety requirements
  • Sound experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) through requirements, design, implementation, testing and support
  • Experience with ASPICE/CMMI, ISO26262
  • Ability to be a key member of a high performing team
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment dealing with complex and multiple tasks
  • Experience with analogue and digital measurement techniques
  • Ability to analyse problems and come up with innovative solutions
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible to business needs
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
