Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, deploy life sciences software applications on Kubernetes based software platform.
  • Build data acquisition software involving control of various mass spectrometry instruments like triple Quadrupoles, Orbitrap detectors and similar. Write state machines and control software to control instruments, acquire data and process data to generate reports.
  • Develop and improve algorithms that process mass spectrometry acquisition data encompassing characterization of protein complexes, cancer screening and diagnostics, Pesticide screening and quantitation and similar applications.
  • Develop AI based algorithms for processing MS data like MS Peak Detection.
  • Work collaboratively across the Technology, UX, and Product organizations to ensure alignment towards business goals.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers within the team.

Skills: Must Have:

  • 6+ years of hands on coding skills in C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework. Strong and demonstrable knowledge of software design and Object oriented practices.
  • Experience in the field of HPLC/MS technology, primarily on the software side, either in academia or industry.
  • Understanding of distributed software, ideally in scientific environments.
  • Very good knowledge of Mass Spectrometry instrumentation and data processing.
  • Lab experience with LC-MS workflows, software and systems.
  • Solid understanding of Azure DevOps source management, Confluence for knowledge sharing, Office tools.
  • Strong analytical acumen. Strong team spirit, extremely good with verbal and written communications in English.
