Pullflow is seeking an Engineering Manager to build, lead, and manage a team of talented engineers. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and leadership skills to drive the development and deployment of our cutting-edge developer tools. You will work with the latest technologies such as Deno, TypeScript, React, Prisma, GraphQL, and RedwoodJS, playing a crucial role in our early-stage tech startup. Responsibilities : Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products. API Development: Build scalable, high-performance APIs using databases, queues, caching, and monitoring. Multi-Platform Development: Develop rich, integrated multi-platform clients, including web applications with React. Automated Testing: Write and ensure the execution of end-to-end automated tests for all layers of the software. CI/CD Processes: Oversee continuous integration, build, and deploy automation processes. Mentorship: Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering objectives with business goals. Technical Excellence: Drive technical excellence and uphold best practices in software development and testing. Requirements: Core CS Skills: Mastery of data structures, design patterns, and algorithms to build scalable high-performance APIs and develop rich integrated multi-platform clients. Backend Engineering: Strong expertise with TypeScript, REST, and GraphQL for building APIs and continuous integration. Frontend Development: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and leading web frameworks like React for developing web experiences. Test-Driven Development: Skills using Jest, Vitest, Playwright, Cypress, xUnit, etc., for automated testing. Infrastructure Tools: Proficient with Git and other core *nix command-line tools. Leadership & Interpersonal Skills: Proven experience in team management and leadership, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Skills: Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, RedwoodJS, Deno, Go, familiarity with cloud platforms and infrastructure, and previous experience in a startup environment.
