Project Description:

The Priorities Acceleration team is currently designing and implementing a self-service AWS Glue offering which will enable the enterprise to retire two legacy ETL solutions currently housed in the datacenter.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with team-specific stakeholders to mitigate risk within the team and with external associates.
  • Assist in designing and planning business-driven features.
  • Codes small and large application features from start to finish with various partner input.
  • Keeps up with learning and applying industry trends.
  • Takes a mentoring initiative for personal and peer growth.
  • Teaches best practices and context to internal developers.
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and written with various business partners.
  • Creates and improves internal libraries and tools.
  • Participates in and leads production support situations.
  • Planning and executing delivery of course grained features and capabilities
  • Show an understanding of the business supported by their code in their daily work

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Experience writing and maintaining enterprise ETL jobs; 6+ years
  • Experience designing ETL solutions for large enterprises; 4+ years
  • Experience writing Terraform code; 3+ years

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience implementing modern cloud-native patterns
  • Experience modernizing legacy enterprise systems
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Experience with Java and/or Python
  • Experience with the Informatica ETL system
  • Experience with AWS Glue
  • Experience migrating jobs legacy ETL systems to more modern ETL systems
