About the role
The goal of this position is to take projects & responsibilities away from the Head of Fulfillment in order for the Head of Fulfillment to spend more time leveraged on their most important projects that will drive the company further. This rockstar assistant will support the Head of Fulfillment and the fulfillment team in many different areas mainly in the domains of data extraction, admin duties, and company operations. This role is multifaceted and requires out of the box thinking, extreme detail, and the ability to execute.
You will need to be comfortable with working flexible hours but always read for communication from 9 am – 3 pm US-EST
About you
- Previous experience in similar roles is not required but it will be valued against other applicants
- This role requires you to be extremely competent in Google Sheets. Building functions and connecting sheets is something you learned years ago and you have the ability to look at a sheet and see a simpler, more efficient way to retrieve the same data
- You are able to see/ hear a desired outcome and find a way to bring it across the finish line. (not dependent on someone to walk you through)
- Your understanding and comprehension of mathematical patterns is evident. You find yourself being asked quite frequently, “you did that math in your head?”
- As you do your work, you are constantly examining the steps you are taking and looking for opportunities to streamline what you’re doing. You understand that what you do is valuable BUT if there is a way to streamline what you do and get the same value creation, then you can create MORE value somewhere else.
- You will need to be able to communicate when you feel underprepared or that you lack enough information to properly execute the task or project. This will require both transparency and organization as you will need to be able to spot early on your miscues, lapses, or barriers that stand in your way.
- You will need to be servant-minded. It’s one of our core values here at Rotate Digital but this will be crucial for this role as one of the best ways that you create value is by freeing up the time of others to create value elsewhere. You will always be looking for opportunities to step in on tasks that are manual or mundane, or taking over a project that is on the right track and just needs some final actions to make it across the finish line.
