IT Specialist (m/f/d) as System Engineer (m/f/d) Workplace Services – IT Support

UKSH Gesellschaft für IT Services mbH, based in Lübeck, provides all IT services for the University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) and thus supports cutting-edge medicine and research at Schleswig-Holstein’s largest employer. Our service portfolio includes support for administrative and clinical systems, including customizing applications and providing the IT infrastructure, service desk and IT support. We also provide IT services to UKSH subsidiaries and other external customers.

Join our team at the Kiel campus and support us full-time as soon as possible – part-time is always possible. What you can expect:

  • 2nd level support for the existing workstation hardware
  • Installation of special software and hardware in the clinical area
  • Support with projects and relocations
  • Management and support of client peripherals (printer, monitor, accessories, etc.)
  • Selection and testing of new IT technologies
  • Documentation of work in the ticket system
  • Assumption of on-call duties

What you bring with you:

  • Vocational training as an IT specialist or comparable IT training
  • Sound knowledge of Windows client operating systems and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Active Directory as well as Microsoft basic services and TCP/IP-based networks
  • Experience with software distribution, preferably Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
  • Knowledge of ticket systems and working in hygiene areas is an advantage
  • Class B/BE driving license
  • Analytical skills, goal-oriented and proactive working style and enjoyment of teamwork
  • Service-oriented work
  • Very good communication skills
