Your role is multifaceted, encompassing business partnership, executive communication, and financial expertise. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, offering insightful analysis and recommendations to optimize profitability and drive growth. You will lead the charge in crafting compelling business cases, evaluating investment opportunities, and modeling various financial scenarios to inform decision-making. Your ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights will be invaluable as you communicate with senior management and key stakeholders.
AccountabilitiesPartner with executive leadership to develop financial plans and strategies aligned with the companys goals and objective, including annual budget/operating plan and monthly forecastsAnalyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and make data-driven recommendationsPrepare and present financial reports, including monthly/quarterly variance analysis, KPI tracking, and performance metricsTranslate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholdersBuild and maintain robust financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processesManage and mentor team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learningIdentify key drivers of financial performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address areas of improvement
Required qualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plusCPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications are a plus5-7 years in financial planning and analysis, with a track record of business partnership and strategic decision supportWorking knowledge of US GAAPExperience in a SaaS environment strongly preferredProficiency in financial modeling, business case analysis, and P&L managementStrong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insightsProficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial reporting systems (e.g. planning, ERP, BI tools)Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teamsStrong leadership and people management skills, with experience in leading and developing high-performing teamsProven track record of driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability
