About the project, We are looking for an awesome Game QA Automation Engineer to join our remote games development team. 4ThePlayer.com is an up-and-coming creator of online gambling games (slots, table games, and others). Your responsibilities, Develop and maintain automation test scripts using JavaScript and associated frameworks., Implement automated regression, smoke, and performance tests., Collaborate with the development team to identify and address software defects and issues., Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of new game features, functionalities, and enhancements., Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure game quality throughout the development process., Perform thorough testing of game features, such as functionality, usability, compatibility, and integration., Execute test plans, create test cases, and document defects effectively., Provide insightful feedback to improve the overall game quality., Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies., Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.

Solid understanding of the QA process and methodologies., Knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript., Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills., Proficiency in English (additional language skills are an asset).

Optional, Passion for the gaming industry, with an interest in gambling games., Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or a relevant field (preferred but not required)., Solid knowledge of bug-tracking tools and version control systems, such as JIRA and Git., Prior experience in manual game testing (internship or personal projects) is advantageous.
