The opportunity

As part of the RSS Operational Compliance we  provide support to ensure that key operational activities are conducted in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies, focusing on Healthcare Compliance (Monitoring, Transparency Reporting Support).

The Global Lead Healthcare Compliance is responsible for establishing and leading best-in-class operational Healthcare Compliance Monitoring (HCM) and Transparency Reporting support for APAC, EMEA and Americas . The position has a strong focus on operations strategy, people management, and operational excellence / acting as One Team, aligning operational processes globally.

Reporting to the Global Product Lead Operational Compliance, the Global Lead Healthcare Compliance contributes to the development of the strategic goals and objectives of the product line. You inspire and help to shape the future of our organization. As a people manager, you actively promote and stimulate development and coaching your teams. In this role you will focus on: 

  • Building strong networks throughout the Roche compliance community through continuous engagement with stakeholders/partners to further enhance the support delivery in healthcare compliance.
  • Effectively collaborating in the design and implementation of healthcare compliance through refining and establishing processes and procedures that support best-in-class healthcare compliance for stakeholders/partners.
  • Developing comprehensive healthcare compliance monitoring key delivery requirements related to affiliate interactions (e.g. Grant, Sponsorship, Donation, Events) with Healthcare Professionals (HCP) and Healthcare Organization (HCO) in line with the business / product line vision.
  • Coordinating healthcare compliance monitoring reviews by ensuring relevant evidence/documentation for HCP and HCO are performed in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with Company Policies, Procedure and local / external regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of Transparency Reporting including HCP spend in the Transparency Spend Reporting system and global cross border HCP/HCO spend.
  • Ensuring best practice, governance and standards are applied globally, and knowledge is shared within the organization effectively.
  • Fostering an engaging team environment throughout the global healthcare compliance team by conducting training and integrating new joiners in Roche ways of working.

Who you are

We are looking for someone who is self motivated, really passionate about their job and understands that providing a high-quality service is essential for the organization. As an ideal team member you are open-minded, dedicated to make a difference and open to constant development. Furthermore, you have:

  • College or university degree (prefer law, business or compliance)
  • 10+ years’ experience in compliance (prefer healthcare or pharmaceutical proven experience) and minimum 3 years of people management experience
  • Experience in leading change and managing complex projects deployment 
  • Ability to work across cultures and collaborate on service delivery
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) are essential
