  • Hands-on C# experience and understanding of C++
  • Some experience with creating and/or maintaining Visual Studio extensions

  • Interest in IDEs (VS Code, IntelliJ) or dev tools (e.g. Bazel) is a plus
  • Knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Scala, Python, or TypeScript is also a plus

    We are looking for people who were developing Visual Studio extensions and want to make it a full-time job. We can ensure an interesting project related to LLMs, along with the opportunity to work as part of a team with world-class dev tooling engineers.

    Project scope

    • implementing and/or improving the UI/UX of an IDE extension
    • integrating with the Visual Studio platform
    • integrating with LLMs
    • focusing on implementing new features
    • dogfooding and testing the tool while developing it

    Tech stack

    C#, Visual Studio extension, TypeScript

    Challenges

    • designing a new extension to work in concert with the existing VS Code and IntelliJ (JetBrains) plugins
    • rapidly evolving codebase (a big focus on implementing new features)
    • integrating with the existing TypeScript codebase that provides most of the logic in the extension

    Team

    • we are building a team of 2-3 devs, with 2-3 people contributing irregularly
    • the tech lead also takes the role of the PM
    • there are UX/UI designers to reach out to
    • the team is distributed
    • the core team + most of the people you interact with are in the same timezone as Poland
    • communication mostly happens in English
