Overview: This position ensures the technological and digital security of the Bank at a high level of ability and technical expertise. Mitigates exposure to cyber threats, security risks, and unauthorized access. Assesses organizational networks, applications, or systems for potential vulnerabilities. Protects assets and information through a variety of methods, resolving security issues or incidents as they arise. Maintains a strong knowledge of industry practices, technology, and evolving threats in order to enhance defenses for the Bank’s information systems and resources. May oversee less experienced associates in the work group. We are seeking individuals with cloud experience with a focus on security. It isn’t just enough to be able to list cloud acronyms and services, we are seeking someone who is interested in building those services securely. You will join a team whose focus is to investigate, engineer and deploy preventative and detective controls for the Bank’s cloud presence. Responsibilities: Research proposed and in-use cloud services for security best practices from a variety of professional sources. Develop and author infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) for those cloud services to implement example use cases. Develop and author policy-as-code (Hashicorp Sentinel) to provide preventative guardrails for application and infrastructure teams. Develop and author Python that will execute detective controls in AWS Config and similar services. Remote eligible. The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $114,978.00 to $199,296.00 per year. This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay.
