Job Description In this role, you will analyze and interpret complex records in order to identify and accurately bill services. This will include assigning/sequencing correct diagnostic and procedure billing codes in compliance with third party payor requirements, and obtaining clarification when presented with conflicting, ambiguous, or non-specific documentation. Qualifications: Qualifications At least 3 years of inpatient coding experience RHIA, RHIT, and/or CCS, CIC certification Strong communication, analytical and research skills with a keen attention to detail A bachelor’s degree, certification or equivalent Additionally, your background must include demonstrated knowledge of: Coding concepts for facility diagnosis and procedure coding and DRG assignment Legal and policy directives pertinent to coding Proper reference material, standards and guidelines for coding Software applications in use to document patient services Confidentiality requirements ** _ IMPORTANT NOTE _** : This job is open only to residents of the United States, and you must be authorized to work in the US in order to be considered for employment.
