The work can be managed remotely – with time-to-time office presence depending on the team’s agreement and the demand of the respective professional area – from any location in Hungary. In case of some company events, office attendance is expected from the colleagues. Technical conditions for working from home are fully in place.
Job Description
As a Business Relationship Manager, you will act as a vital link between the business units and the IT department. Your primary responsibility will be to understand the business needs and ensure that IT services and solutions are aligned with these needs. You will play a key role in managing relationships, coordinating projects, and supporting the implementation of IT solutions that drive business success.
Main tasks, roles and responsibilities:
- Acting as the primary point of contact between the business units and the IT department, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication.
- Understanding and translating business needs into IT requirements, ensuring that IT services and solutions align with business objectives.
- Coordinating and managing IT and software development projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Utilizing your knowledge in Development Operations (DevOps) to support application deployment and efficient infrastructure management.
- Implementing and maintaining monitoring and logging solutions to track application and infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize systems.
- Leveraging cloud platforms such as Azure to support R&D initiatives and other business needs.
- Applying your expertise in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of software products.
- Using your experience in Engineering-IT environments to focus on project management and IT architectures.
- Applying your knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to support various stages of product development.
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar qualification.
- Experience in an Engineering-IT environment with a focus on project management and IT architectures.
- Profound knowledge in the field of Development Operations (DevOps), including:
- Understanding of automation tools and processes for application deployment and infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions for performance tracking, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and their services.
- Profound knowledge in the field of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make complex processes intuitive.
- Proficiency with agile methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take ownership of projects and applications.
- Experience with industry-standard tools like Confluence, Jira, Git, etc.
- The drive to develop user-centered, resilient, and reactive software through good software craftsmanship.
- Fluent English.
- German language skills are beneficial.
