Overview: This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States. This position is responsible for ongoing operational execution of the Information Technology (IT) Disaster Recovery program. Ensures that IT plans are updated and maintained to reflect the current operational environment. Facilitates the ongoing and successful testing of those plans. Develops and implements improvements to the existing program that enhances efficiencies, security, and operational capabilities. Responsibilities: Disaster Planning – Designs and implements an enterprise-wide IT disaster recovery program, including policy development and enforcement, methodologies, and sourcing strategies. Creates maturity models, metrics, and scorecards to evaluate the operational efficiency of the program. Plan Review – Reviews existing IT plans and processes extensively. Establishes, assesses, and communicates recovery requirements within a data center environment. Executes and supports disaster recovery testing activities. Supports and remediates any audit-related issues, following up on missed test objectives to identify potential weaknesses in the disaster recovery plan. Plan Enhancement – Utilizes results of review and testing to develop improvements. Provides guidance and recommendations that enable timely, effective decisions on data center recovery planning and execution. Collaboration – Establishes cross-departmental capabilities with associates, external business partners, and managers for the purpose of directing, controlling, and maintaining an effective testing plan. Works closely with associates and business teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of the disaster recovery program. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of experience in Information Technology as a Developer, Systems Analyst, or Infrastructure Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Information Technology as a Developer, Systems Analyst, or Infrastructure Support Preferred Area of Experience: Information Security Disaster Recovery as a planning and/or testing coordinator License or Certification Type: Certified Business Continuity Professional or Similar Eq. Preferred Preferred Skill(s): Demonstrates competency in strategic thinking followed by tactical execution Broad understanding of all Information Technology ServiceNow experience strongly preferred Knowledge of Office365 suite preferred Certified as Business Continuity Professional by the DRI preferred Project Management experience considered a plus Customer Service Oriented, along with strong communication skills strongly preferred If hired in North Carolina, the base pay for this position is generally between $97,275 and $147,155. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
