Your new role:
Dive into the capabilities of our monitoring tools, understand their nuances, and harness them effectively. Gather monitoring requirements from clients and translate them into actionable solutions using existing tools. Work within a Scrum Agile framework, contributing to planned sprints. Collaborate with fellow analysts, developers, and architects to enhance and adapt monitoring applications. Coordinate with engineers to enforce architecture guidelines and standards. Provide work estimates for proposed changes. Continuously learn and apply cutting-edge strategies and industry practices in IT monitoring.
What you’ll need to succeed
A minimum of 3 years in relevant skill sets. Familiarity with monitoring tools and concepts (e.g., synthetic monitoring, application performance monitoring). Ideally, you’re well-versed in Datadog at a consulting expert level. Other monitoring tools are also welcomed Grasp application architecture, including cloud and on-premise hybrid systems. Background in coding/scripting languages such as infrastructure such as code, PowerShell, Puppet, Ansible, Splunk query language, Python, and JavaScript.
