IT SOLUTION ARCHITECT – RETAIL LOYALTY INTEGRATION

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The person in this role will work closely with business and IT leaders and 3rd party System Integration Teams to provide technical solutions to complex business needs.

Individual will develop an understanding of the business requirements and then align technical and process solutions to those requirements.

He/She will be responsible for the detailed design of any Consumer Services Digital business-related projects from inception through production support. He/She will be responsible for ensuring that the system accurately meets the defined expectations and requirements of the business unit, it is in line with mid- and long-term business and architecture goals, architecture principles while ensuring that proper testing is implemented, and performance requirements are closely monitored by working with the development teams.

Define Loyalty information and feature roadmap with POS (Point of Sales) focus Take end-to-end responsibility for translating complex business and technical requirements into solution architecture, ensuring the delivery of solutions meet current and future needs Stay updated on business and technical trends within POS and Loyalty domains to ensure our solutions stay ahead of the curve Report on the progress of activities and architectural initiatives, maintaining transparency with stakeholders Manage technical vendor relations in planning and executing the designed functionalities in a timely manner. Preparing resource estimations Coordinating of the preparation of proposals, creating required tender documentation in English. Escalating issues to project management. Preparing materials to support the decision-making process Create Architect Board decision materials, which is aligned with all related parties within the organization and drive the architectural change approval process in the owned technology domain

REQUIREMENTS:

University or college degree with specialization in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience 5+ years of proven experience in analytics, system design and systems development Must have enterprise level experience as Business Consultant OR Analyst OR Solution Architect Retail IT domain background English (upper-intermediate) POS cash register design is a plus Salesforce.com, Mulesoft, MS Azure and CRM system knowledge is a plus Atlassian JIRA, Confluence Sparx EA tool experience is a plus System integration concepts

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES:

Experience in requirements gathering, use cases documentation, business analysis, systems design and integration, user interface design and implementation Demonstrated leadership abilities to lead business discussions with customers and design the value of our solution and the best practices to implement it Experience in data analysis, conversion and migration, interfaces and reports Experience with gap analysis and blueprint development Experience with system design using configuration and/or customization Practical experience generating process documentation and reports

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Digital Factory plays a central role in the transformation of MOL Group’s Consumer Services business unit from a traditional fuel retailer to a digitally-driven consumer goods retailer and integrated, complex mobility services provider.

We help the business become more data-driven by building a vast Data Lake integrating granular transactional data in unified way across countries and developing advanced analytics solutions (in areas of forecasting, category management, pricing, workforce optimization) on top of it.

Furthermore, we develop and operate a new digital, app-first loyalty rewards program, mostly on the Salesforce platform, to personalize and significantly increase the convenience of our customers’ experience with us. We launched the program in Croatia first in 2020, then in Slovenia in 2021 and in January 2022 we have launched MOL MOVE in Hungary replacing the legacy Multipoint program with which we aim to redefine the industry standard!

MOL Group Consumer Services are currently serving approx. 10 million customers through 2400 service stations across 10 countries which provides an excellent scale to leverage our technologies regionally

By now we have developed into a multidisciplinary Digital Factory team of approx. 60 talented and motivated colleagues, including data analysts/scientists, product owners, rewards program managers, solution architects, DevOps engineers. Now we are looking to add further solution architects to our team with retail domain background to support our growth in our loyalty rewards program.

The Senior IT Solution Architect – Retail Loyalty Integration is responsible for the advancement of digital business and their supporting technologies and contribution towards key business decisions on both a functional and technical level. The role will demonstrate a good understanding on all digital Loyalty solutions and will map functional requirements to technical system features and functionality, He/She will be responsible for contributing to all aspects of the analysis, design, development, building and testing of solutions within any Digital Factory project work.
