JYSK is looking for an  IT Systems Administrator who will take professional care of various systems in JYSK Logistic IT – Distribution Centers.

WHAT YOUR NEW JOB WILL BE ABOUT:

The main tasks of the IT Systems Administrator include troubleshooting problems, monitoring and configuring IT systems for optimal performance, assisting in maintenance and release cycle tasks, and working with team members to complete various projects such as setting up new Distribution Centers, implementing next-generation systems, and migrating from VMware to HyperV.

Responsibilities:

  • System Maintenance : Manage and maintain our Windows systems, VMware and HyperV environments.
  • Configuration and Audits : Configure and conduct system audits. Ensure compliance with uptime and performance standards.
  • System and software Updates : Manage software updates and patch management across many systems.
  • Security : Recommend and contribute changes in IT infrastructure security.
  • Problem-Solving : Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Projects : Gathers requirements from internal clients and provide security and technical expertise to support the development.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation related to system configurations and processes.
  • Support : Coordinate, schedule downtime for maintenance and upgrades of IT systems
  • Traveling to all JYSK distribution centers in EU countries up to 15%

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

Required Skills and

Qualifications :

  • At least 5 years demonstrated experience as an IT system administrator.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze and solve technical challenges effectively.
  • Attention to detail, meticulous in maintaining system records and documentation.
  • English – communicative level (min. B2)

Recommended skills and

qualifications :

  • A Bachelor’s degree in IT, or other related scientific, or other relevant education
  • Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio or similar will be a big plus
  • Basic knowledge in Linux operating systems would be a plus/an advantage.
  • Good understanding of Service Level Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Root Cause Analysis
