We are looking for the next possible date for a

IT System Administrator (m/f/d) (System Infrastructure)

– full-time – These will be your main tasks:

  • Administration of the central IT infrastructure; this includes virtualization, storage, network technology, firewall, server, e-mail and back-up
  • Planning and conception for the further development of the existing IT landscape in the area of system infrastructure and IT security
  • Analysis and rectification of malfunctions in operations
  • Processing and resolving tickets including documentation, especially in second and third level support
  • Communication and coordination of service providers
  • Implementation of IT infrastructure projects

What we expect from you:

  • Degree in the field of computer science (Bachelor, Diplom [FH]) or comparable knowledge and skills acquired through relevant professional experience or dual study program Diplom-Verwaltungsinformatik (FH)
  • Sound knowledge of network technology and IT security systems
  • Experience as a Windows administrator (m/f/d), in particular Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory domain services and Microsoft SQL
  • Knowledge of working with next-generation firewalls
  • Good communication skills, quick comprehension and team spirit
  • A basic understanding of the operational and support processes in place in a data center
  • A willingness to continuously learn and familiarize yourself with new technologies
  • A class B driving license
