As an IT Team Leader, you must meet the following criteria:

  • At least one year of experience working as an IT Team Leader
  • Extensive knowledge of the latest and most effective industry solutions and striving to implement them

  • Communicative level of English (B2+ level)
  • Great communication skills, including communication with other managers and employees
  • Flexibility to work with different technologies and strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience in people development
  • Experience in working with Atlassian products and Google Workspace
  • At least four years of experience working as a System or Network Administrator
  • Very good IT knowledge related to server and office equipment (desktop computers, servers, operating systems)
  • Very good knowledge of server versions of Linux systems (Debian and/or RHEL based)
  • Very good knowledge of operating systems and troubleshooting (desktop distributions of Linux/Windows/MacOS)
  • Very good networking knowledge (related to office networks-enterprise wireless networks, client-server VPNs, site-to-site VPNs, 802.1Q, 801.1X)
  • Good knowledge of at least one virtualization management system or cloud (Proxmox, VMware, Hyper-V, oVirt, AWS, GCP or Azure)
  • Ability to write scripts (Python or Bash) and to automate (Ansible/Puppet/Chef/Jenkins)

In addition to the criteria above, we would appreciate:

  • Experience in working with Junos OS (EX, SRX)
  • Experience in working with Ubiquiti devices
  • Networking or system administration certification (JNCP/CCNP, CompTIA/RHCA)
  • Good knowledge of Google Apps Scripts

The project and the team 

We are the IT Administration team at CodiLime, our goal is to ensure uninterrupted and trouble-free operation of all other departments in the company. We serve as a support organization at all levels: from the technical organization of events to the management and supervision of virtual and physical servers and networks. The reliability of the company’s services depends on our work, which is why we want to be ahead of all challenges with a can-do attitude.

Things to know about the team and your responsibilities:

  • The team consists of 4 people who support the Warsaw office, Gdansk office and remote users
  • We provide IT support for 300+ employees using Jira Service Management
  • We maintain hundreds of virtual machines on-premises and in the cloud (AWS, GCP and) and dozens of bare metal servers
  • We maintain the company network, internal services and VPN tunnels between locations
  • We set up labs and learn new technologies on a regular basis
  • We automate things with Chef, Python scripts and Jenkins
  • We work closely with the InfoSec team and Office Administration team
