PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an ITSM Application Administration/Configuration Analyst – Remote to support our government customers in Patuxent, River MD and Remotely.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The ITSM Application Administration/Configuration Analyst will be responsible for the follow:

  • Provide enterprise level technical and functional support for the Ivanti Neurons for IT Service Management (ITSM) and Ivanti Endpoint Management solutions.
  • Collaborate with customers and team to elicit and document functional requirements.
  • Contribute to the enhancement, customization, and configuration of the Ivanti product based on the customers’ requirements.
  • Adhere to the team’s SDLC process (design, development, testing, debugging, and deployment).
  • Collaborate with the team using an Agile framework.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Ivanti products.
  • Provide system administration by monitoring system performance, server stability and performing system configuration, maintenance and repair as needed.
  • Ensure optimal application front-end performance, develop queries and reports.
  • Ensure customer and team communication is timely, maintained, and appropriate.
  • Contribute to high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently.
  • May oversee the efforts of less senior team members and/or be responsible for the efforts of all team members assigned to a specific job.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Security+ Certification (ability to obtain within 30 days of hire if the candidate does not already possess).
  • OS Certifications (ability to obtain within 30 days of hire if the candidate does not already possess).
  • Over ten (10) years of experience performing work related to skills listed below:
    • Experience supporting IT Service Management tools such as Ivanti Service Manager/Service Desk, Cherwell, BMC Remedy/Helix, ServiceNow, or Axios.
    • Understanding of database and server technologies, internet and network technologies.
    • Experience with Business Object components including lists, forms and layouts.
    • Experience with configuring Pick Lists Managing Counters Expressions.
    • Experience with Business Objects and Relationships.
    • Experience managing system settings and application logs.
    • Experience with importing and exporting data, searching, and reporting, establishing workflows.
    • Experience with dashboards.
    • Experience with Windows Server and Desktop administration.
    • Experience in IT with an emphasis on customer support.
    • Confident user of Microsoft Windows and common applications (Word, Excel etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Ivanti and On Preism
  • Knowledge of ITSM, CMDB and ITIL business processes
  • Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) and associated protocols.
  • Knowledgeable with Scrum
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and User Profiles
  • Experience with SQL Database.
  • SQL and IIS experience.
  • Experience with troubleshooting Networking issues.
  • Strong troubleshooting/root cause isolation skills.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and VMWare.
  • Experience providing SaaS support is desirable.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Windows internals (registry, drivers, config, group policies etc).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows server and client OS administration.
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP, MCSA, MCSE or MCDBA).

Preferred Certifications:

Ivanti Neurons for ITSM – Administrator Certification

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology with ten (10) years of relevant work experience

Educational substitutions as follows:

  • Associate degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience.
  • High School diploma or GED, with formal IT-related trade school training (i.e. IT related post-secondary, non-degreed award /certificate program, industry recognized certifications and commercially available training programs) and 6 years additional work experience.
