About the project, Currently, we are seeking a Java Developer (Vaadin) to join our customer, leader in consulting, technology services, and digital transformation., , •Remote work: 100% remote from PL, •Budget: 160 – 180 PLN/net/h + VAT, •Type of employment: B2B, •Contract length: 12 months, •Project language: English
Your responsibilities, Develop and maintain applications using Java, Design User Interfaces primarily using the Vaadin framework, Utilize Java-based front-end libraries and frameworks (Vaadin, JSF, Tapestry), Implement and integrate RESTful services/APIs, Communicate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, Ensure requirements are met throughout the development process, Collaborate with the development team and provide project updates
5+ years of Java development experience, Proficiency in Java programming language, Familiarity with Java-based frontend libraries and frameworks, particularly Vaadin, Willingness to predominantly work on UI design through Java, exemplified by experience with Vaadin, Experience integrating with RESTful services and APIs, Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders, English level: B2, C1
Optional, Understanding of UI/UX design principles and tools, Familiarity with non-Java frontend languages and Frameworks (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.), Proficiency in SQL for database queries, Knowledge of Object-relational mapping tools such as Hibernate and JPA, Familiarity with middleware, particularly Message Queues
