About the project, Work as part of Global HMS team for application development & support.
Your responsibilities, Work as part of Global HMS team for application development & support., Align closely with business for Technology/Project deliveries as per agreed timelines., Work/support on any critical issues and ensure the fix is delivered in time., Takes ownership of Production Support activities across the platform, Ensures support requests, tickets, ad-hoc queries, support to the Application/Platform and track its completion/resolution., Responsible for diagnosing and resolving application issues to ensure optimal performance and usability for various system Users., Prepare new best practices, technical and processes documents., Develop & enhance your knowledge in by way of courses, trainings, certification & hands on experience., SME of service functional capabilities and limitations., Capture and escalation of risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions during the design phase of agile delivery.
Primary skills: Core Java, Spring Boot, Junit, Micro Services, REST Services, JSON, PostgreSQL, MQ/Solace, Able to work in the DevOps environment., Knowledge of RESTful API design, Experience in application development using Java 8.0 /J2EE and related technologies, (Spring Framework and Hibernate JPA), Hands on experience on Microservices, Java Design Pattern, Experience in building Micro services., Experience with Solace and Messaging, Experience in working Agile/Scrum/ Kanban team, Knowledge of Document Driven Databases and RDBMS – Mongo DB, Oracle, Postgres, Good knowledge of design patterns and ability to convert it into project development., Excellent communication skills (written & oral)., Good capabilities to work in a team split in different locations., Being autonomous: knowing how to take responsibilities for actions to be undertaken and bring them to completion.
Optional, Basic Python,, Activiti (workflow engine),, JMock/ Mockito, Shell scripting,, Selenium and Serenity., Familiar with: Cloud technologies preferably GCP (AWS, Azure), Redis, Application Security, Java 17/21 features, Experience with any Workflow based application development., Exposure to Monitoring, Alerting and Reporting tools and deployment CI/CD tools like: Jenkins, Ansible, Experience with Elastic Search, Logstash and Kibana (ELK)
