  The Opportunity:  We’re looking for a skilled Xero specialist to support our finance team. Your responsibilities include daily bookkeeping, monthly accruals, prepayments, fixed assets management, depreciation journal updates, and balance sheet reconciliations. You’ll also assist the Finance Manager with various tasks, contributing to our Finance Department’s efficiency. You should have 3-4 years of hands-on Xero experience, proficiency in daily financial operations, multi-company account management, and inter-company reconciliations. Your role is crucial for precise transaction reconciliation and timely financial reporting for our core business and USA-based subsidiaries.

  Job Responsibilities  

1. Perform daily Xero bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

2. Handle monthly accruals and prepayments, ensuring proper accounting for expenses and revenue recognition.

3. Manage monthly updates for fixed assets and maintain a depreciation journal to track asset values over time.

4. Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial statements and identify any discrepancies.

5. Provide comprehensive support to the Finance Manager on various tasks and actively participate in executing finance department activities.

  Your Experience

1. 3+ years of experience with a proven track record using Xero accounting software is a must.
2. Fluent or C1 level proficiency in spoken English.
3. Familiarity with US Taxation practices.
4. Ability to work collaboratively within a team, supporting the Finance Manager and other departments as needed.
5. Knowledge of accrual basis accounting, COGS, customized report generation in Xero, Excel formula usage, efficient task management.
6. Possession of relevant certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is a plus.
