About the project, We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist to create and maintain data analytical pipelines. Data is obtained from medical units and uploaded to the internal database. We focus on detailed analysis of text data (NLP) as well as building models that detect patients with specific rare diseases.
Your responsibilities, Implementation of machine learning methods, Searching and developing analytical stacks answering specific medical questions, Development and maintenance of ETL processes, data pipelines in “BIG DATA” architecture, Analyzing large amounts of medical data (numerical and text data), Creation and maintenance of data pipelines: contribution to feature store development, creation of automated pipelines (i.e. kedro), building self-learning structures, Testing models retrospectively and prospectively, Expansion of tools supporting model performance quality control processes, Close and regular cooperation with a team of medical experts, Collaboration with the Data Engineer, as well as MLOps and DataOps, to develop the best technological solutions, Supporting the team in identifying and solving business problems
Education in mathematics, computer science, statistics or related fields, Academic or professional experience in the field of data science (minimum 1 year), including: decision trees, random, forests, neural networks, support vector machines, linear and logistic regression, etc., Skills in algorithm design, complexity analysis, data structures, problem solving and diagnosis, Good programming skills in Python, Practical knowledge of SQL, Experience using: Linux, Git, Docker, Kedro, Airflow, English minimum B2, Good communication skills, the ability to ask questions, but also to listen and draw conclusions, Willingness to learn new technologies and issues
