More details about the job, main responsibilities and tasks :
Technical Support and Documentation: providing technical support to senior engineers and drilling personnel during regular operations. This includes assisting with Well design concept development, completion concept development, material selection, monitoring drilling parameters, and troubleshooting operational issues. Additionally, the junior engineer is responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation related to drilling activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Committed to continuous learning and development.
Safety and Environmental Compliance: promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship on drilling sites. This includes adhering to safety protocols, participating in safety meetings and training sessions, and reporting any safety hazards or incidents promptly. Additionally, the junior engineer assists in implementing environmental protection measures and minimizing the environmental impact of drilling activities. Data Analysis and Reporting: In support of drilling operations, the Junior Drilling Engineer assists in data analysis and reporting tasks. This involves collating drilling data, performing basic data analysis, and generating reports to communicate key findings and performance metrics. By providing timely and accurate information, the junior engineer contributes to decision-making processes and helps optimize drilling performance. Demonstrate an effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams which are essential for project success. Liaise with geologists, reservoir engineers, HSE professionals, and other stakeholders to align objectives, address challenges, and optimize drilling strategies.
The ideal candidate:
has an MSc degree in Petroleum or Drilling Enginner degree gained basic drilling, completion, well test, workover operation planning experience has native Hungarian language skills and fluent in English has good communication and presentation skills has good knowledge of root cause analysis, risk management and advanced level incident investigation is result oriented has strong leadership skills is a team player, self-started
