What鈥檚 the opportunity about? We are looking for a Lead Security Engineering working to ensure that the Unbabel service continues to adhere to best practices in security systems. You will be responsible for working and lead Unbabel鈥檚 Information Security System which is ISO27001 certified. This includes the security aspects of infrastructure, SDLC, and application lifecycle – including scanning, code review practices, deployment, and policy reviews. It also includes supporting revenue with security compliance support when needed. The role will report directly to Unbabel’s VP of Engineering. Responsibilities Working with engineering teams to educate and validate that processes, services and systems are secure; Reporting to Unbabel鈥檚 Leadership Team on important issues and material violations of laws and regulations. Building best practices throughout the engineering teams; Doing architectural and technical reviews; Ensuring the execution of the activities that support vulnerability management programs, including implementing and managing a SIEM solution, monitoring reporting channels, planning and following up on the execution of activities; Leading other teams in preparing and responding to security incidents; Supporting customer and standard industry audits or accreditations; Contributing to the development of security policies and procedures owned by the engineering organization; Contributing to the product specifications and design to ensure services are secure by design; Supporting the Business Continuity management activities as part of the engineering leadership; Representing other security concerns as part of the engineering leadership. Requirements 5 years working in a senior technical security role; BSc or equivalent qualification in Information/Technical Security; Experience of working on ISO27001 or SOC2 or similar accreditation; Experience working with and implementing OWASP recommendations.
