What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Expertise in iOS Languages: Profound Swift knowledge, familiarity with Objective-C. Understanding of the iOS SDK and Xcode essentials.
  • Framework and Design Patterns: Proficiency with UIKit and SwiftUI and familiarity with CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager. Solid grasp of MVVM, MVC, VIPER, and their practical applications.
  • Development Best Practices: Experience with the iOS Provisioning process, unit testing (XCTest, XCUITest), and continuous integration/delivery practices.
  • UI/UX Design Skills: Strong knowledge of iOS UI design principles and patterns, including accessibility standards compliance (WCAG 2.2).
  • Backend Integration and Performance: Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, offline storage, threading, and performance optimization.
  • Other Essential Skills: Experience with push notifications, proficient understanding of Git, and a solid grasp of the mobile development lifecycle.
  • Exposure to other mobile platforms or cross-platform development is a plus.
  • Familiarity with functional programming concepts.
