Design and develop levels and environments that are engaging, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with the overall game design and story.

Collaborate with game designers, narrative designers, and art teams to ensure the seamless integration of gameplay mechanics and story elements within the game environments.

Utilize level design tools and software to create and iterate on level layouts, applying both artistic and technical skills.

Conduct playtests and gather feedback, using it to refine level designs and improve player experience.

Create detailed documentation for each level, including diagrams, flowcharts, and written specifications.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

Proven experience as a Level Designer, with a portfolio showcasing previous work on notable projects.

Strong understanding the theory and philosophy of level design.

Strong proficiency in level design tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine or similar.

Ability to develop design maps, build block-outs, process feedback from stakeholders and quickly make changes.
-
Excellent understanding of game design principles and how they translate into engaging player experiences.
-
Ability to work effectively in a team, communicating clearly and openly with other team members.
-
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt designs based on player feedback and technical constraints.

A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and environmental storytelling.
-
At least intermediate proficiency in English.
