Our international client is looking for new Network Engineer colleagues to join their expanding global team – remote working from Hungary is possible!

Your new role

Establishes networking environment by system installation, documenting, and conforming to standards and best practices. Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization. Secures network system by enforcing security policies. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information. Install and support LANs, network segments, and related components. Install and maintain network hardware and software. Analyze, isolate and resolve issues. Ability to work safely in an office and manufacturing environment. Proactive attitude. Ability to work both independently and in team.

What you’ll need to succeed

Network experience within an Enterprise IT environment. Experience troubleshooting layer 1 issues (copper and fiber) Experience troubleshooting and supporting all layers of the OSI model. Subject matter expertise in network support and design for a Cisco based network environment. Strong Routing and Switching experience (BGP, OSPF, VPC, VLAN traffic engineering) Proficiency with firewall policies, router ACLs and network security concepts. English: professional working proficiency

Preferred

Cisco or Fortinet certification Experience using Forti Manager and Forti Analyzer Experience working in projects, from architecture to implementation. Experience with DNS (Domain Name Service) Experience with authentication systems such as RADIUS, TACACS+, SSO, LDAP+ Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure networking Experience in AGILE and ITIL Category B driving license is a plus but not a requirement
