TU Online Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Teesside University with a dedicated focus on providing flexible online learning opportunities across a range of Teesside University courses.
TU Online Ltd is looking for an Online Course Content Designer, whose specialist expertise lies within video content creation and editing, graphic design, animation and PowerPoint, to design high quality digital learning objects to maintain, support and enrich 100% online courses delivered via TU Online Ltd. Additionally successful candidates will be expected to provide support and training re designing digital learning objects.
You will work with the eLearning design team to create online course elements and objects to support the development and growth of online learning at Teesside University.
Successful applicants will hold a relevant qualification and experience in video content creation and editing, graphic design, animation, infographics and PowerPoint.
Experience in software packages Articulate and Adobe Creative Cloud is also desirable.
The role would suit an individual with experience in higher education and eLearning design, best practice and principles / UX design – with the ability to design for a diverse student group.
You must be committed to student-centred learning with an appreciation of how adults learn and will have the ability to produce course content which caters to students from diverse educational, cultural and work backgrounds. Strong IT skills are essential as are good communication skills. If you enjoy a busy, collaborative working environment which necessitates the ability to work across multiple projects, and have the expertise as detailed, we would welcome your application.
