Job Description Join one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic medical centers, UChicago Medicine , as an Oracle Cloud Integrations Developer. This is a remote, work from home opportunity and you may be based outside of the greater Chicagoland area. The Oracle Cloud Integrations Developer is responsible for the design, development, and support of FIN, HCM, SCM and related integrations and related aspects of the UCM Oracle Cloud platform. This includes all work related to impact assessment for upgrades, system enhancements, projects, and application break fix scenarios. This person will design and develop solutions based on industry best practices that will allow for efficient processing and minimize business implications for the UCM Oracle Cloud platform. This position will also be responsible for the day-to-day intake and timely resolutions for production support issues, enhancements, and project requests. In addition to Oracle Cloud integrations, this individual will also be responsible for the design, development, and support of the Kronos Boomi integration platform for integrations to and from the Kronos time keeping system and Oracle Cloud. The Oracle Cloud Integrations Developer will collaborate with the tech team as well as the Oracle and Kronos Functional teams on a day-to-day basis. A successful candidate will have the following characteristics: Strong IT knowledge in application management Broad knowledge of information technology including integrations, testing on related components Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, and effective presentation skills Ability to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor in both normal and pressure situations Essential Job Functions: Resolve technical incidents, design solutions in Reporting, Integration, and Workflow technologies. Identify and enhance error handing mechanisms, why integrations are failing, and ensuring timely notifications are sent out. Design, build and test new reports, integrations, Boomi, BI Publisher, FRS, and OTBI for reports. Support the design build and test for enhancements and projects that support the business. Perform impact assessments to technical objects during Oracle Cloud and Kronos upgrades. Identify gaps in the solution and provide recommendations for improvements. Ensure Technical Design Documents / Lean Specs and Solution Documents are updated. Participate in discussions with Oracle and Kronos Functional track leads and business stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide technical solutions that are based on industry best practice. Maintain version Control for all RICE components and follow a designed approach to migrate changes to PROD. Complete work and tasks related to Oracle environment refresh plans, schedules and ensure refresh steps occur with a high degree of accuracy. Required Qualifications: BS or BA degree in computer science, business or equivalent relevant certification in healthcare, business management, or information systems 1 or more years of work experience with Oracle Cloud Expert in Oracle Cloud technologies – OTBI, BIP, FastFormulas, Integrations tools (OIC or other leading middleware products) including Workflow builder Expert with Boomi integrations to Kronos and ERP platforms Experience with the Service Now Incident Management platform Experience in working with a small team that can complete tasks and work in a project and production environment Experience reporting to and communicating with C-level client contacts, managing client teams both on-site and off-site resources Ability to identify and enhance error handing mechanisms, why integrations are failing, and ensuring notifications are sent out Preferred Qualifications: Oracle Cloud certification in any module Position Details: Job Type/FTE: Full Time (1.0 FTE) Shift: Days Unit/Department: IT Business Office – Hyde Park CBA Code: Non-Union Must comply with UCMC’s COVID-19 Vaccination requirement as a condition of employment.
