What you need to have:
- 5 years of DB Engineering/Administration experience primarily with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases Preferred
- Strong understanding of Oracle and/or PostgreSQL architecture, internals, clustering and associated utilities.
- Strong understanding for replication technologies: MySQL Replication, Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle Dataguard, PostgreSQL streaming and logical replication.
- Good experience with Python/Ruby/Shell scripting and experience in configuration management tools like Ansible
- Good understanding of both relational and NoSQL database concepts/fundamentals.
- Good Troubleshooting and Performance Improvement Skills.
- Experience with monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana.
- UNIX/Linux platform skills and understanding of operating system, network, storage and security.
