Job Role:
As a Partnership Strategy & Data Analyst on the KORE Planning & Insights (KPI) team, you will support KORE’s content marketing strategies and serve as the subject matter expert for all sponsorship trends & insights to assist the Customer Success team. You will be instrumental in harnessing data and actionable insights from KORE’s platform and robust database. Your analysis will span various entities including brands, athletes, influencers, teams, leagues, events, and entertainment properties. You’ll generate insights that influence marketing reports, social media campaigns, support sales targets and success team requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop concise data stories on significant sports and entertainment events for use in KORE internal & external materials by constantly having a pulse on the sports and entertainment industry.
- Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to maximize partner value by developing innovative and high-impact collateral that helps all parties achieve their goals.
- Craft data-driven narratives that highlight the value of the KORE software tech stack across social media, broadcast, KORE Portfolio, etc.
- Lead sports and entertainment industry research focused on (but not limited to) brands, athletes, teams, venues, potential prospects and current events.
- Develop and refine data visualizations for internal and external use.
- Implement qualitative and quantitative best practices for the department to amplify our position and brand to the marketplace.
- Support sales team with relevant research regarding current and potential clients, various corporations, and general industry insights.
- Tracking & identifying new, emerging, and growing industries/brands/deals within the sponsorship industry.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in sports marketing, business intelligence, sponsorship strategy, brand marketing or other related field.
- Agency or professional sports team/league experience is highly valued but not required.
- A passion for and deep understanding of the sports and entertainment sponsorship landscape and social media trends.
- A creative thinker to identify new ways for KORE to be an industry leading storyteller using data
- Strong research skills with the ability to translate insights into stories.
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, high attention to detail and results-driven marketer.
- Proficient in data analytics and visualization.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-starter with capability for handling data processing, cleaning, and analysis independently.
- Proficient in Power Point, SQL, Tableau, Excel, or Power BI.
