PHP Developer

Role OverviewAs a Backend Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing the server-side components of our software applications. You’ll work closely with databases, server-side scripting languages, APIs, and server architecture to ensure seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems. Participate in requirements analysis and planning. Collaborate with Product Owners and User Experience Designers to deliver exceptional features on time. Contribute to community-driven decisions and shape technical roadmaps. Develop, test, and maintain domain-specific solutions. Engage in code reviews. Mentor other engineers.

Requirements and Skills

Proven work experience as a Backend Engineer. In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment). Hands-on experience with programming languages such as PHP. Working knowledge of CMS frameworks. Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, and CSS). Excellent analytical and time management skills. Strong teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.

Preferred (but not required):

Experience with .NET. Familiarity with TypeScript and React. Knowledge of CI and CD pipeline creation. Exposure to cloud environments.
