Job Description

REMOTE! The Premier System Administrator is the key operator of the Premier product and serves as the facility’s key resource person and contact for Premier. The System Administrator is responsible for data submission and validation, system set up, and mappings in the Premier system, for both labor productivity and comparative benchmarking reporting. System Administrators submit and audit the operational data to Premier, set up report distribution mechanisms, maintain the Profile system and perform various forms of data analytics. The System Administrator serves as the ultimate authority within the facility regarding the data and provides support to directors, managers, and other leaders in the hospital/health system for data use. Responsibilities Gathering and Uploading Data Maintain System Setup Pre-submission Auditing and Data Corrections Quarterly Benchmarking Data Submission Report Distribution Quarterly Updates and Mapping Maintenance Working with Managers to ensure Profiles completed (every months and new departments) Validate Productivity Data Publish and distribute Productivity reports Create new and modify existing reporting definitions as needed Establish revised labor standards for Productivity reporting Regularly attends meeting regarding stats, targets, researches questions, etc. for Directors and members of Senior Leadership. May perform other duties as assigned or requested and job specification can be modified or updated at any time. Qualifications Required: Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, mathematics, or related field Required Experience : At least one year of experience working in the hospital setting. Attention to detail due to the auditing necessary and importance of the data to the organization. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Intermediate to advanced technical orientation & ability to work with a new system and learn it quickly. The user will be able to embrace new web-based technology and not be intimidated by making mistakes. The user is able to handle the situation when everything doesn’t go as planned. Possesses a general understanding of the source data systems (payroll, G/L, charge capture, HIS, etc.) and can work well with others through the hospital or health system to obtain necessary data extracts and elements. The System Administrator must have the ability to collaborate with others and be able to pick up the phone and reach out to members of the management team as there are questions.
