The Principal Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for designing, creating, and managing complex BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. An extensive background in data analysis including work in SQL, SSIS, Python, and Tableau/Power BI accompanied by a strong business acumen is a must. A BI Developer should be independently curious and an excellent communicator with the ability to breakdown complex problems into digestible solutions. Skill sets should additionally include familiarity with ETL processes, OLAP tools, cloud technologies, Agile methodology, and SDLC. Ultimately, the Principal BI Developer will help drive the enhancement of our business intelligence capabilities to help Providence make better, more informed, decisions. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree In quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering. Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Bachelor’s Degree: Applicable work experience may be substituted. 10 or more years Experience in programming using SQL. 5 years Experience using data visualization software such as Tableau, PowerBI, SSRS, etc. Proven experience with database management, statistical representation of data, presentation, spreadsheet and word processing software. Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree In related field. Master’s Degree: Three years of experience in an analytic or technical role working with multiple data systems. Health Insurance experience.

The salary range listed for this position MIN:$51.16 to MAX:$82.36 per hour is based upon the primary work location Beaverton, OR. This position is remote. Salary range and offers are determined by internal pay equity and geographic cost of living differences. Salary range will vary from State and region.
