Job Requisition ID #24WD75932Principal Cloud DevOps EngineerWe are seeking a Principal Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team in Platform Services and Emerging Technology’s Developer Enablement DevRel group. The developer enablement organization’s mission within platform services is to provide developers with the tools and support they need to build high-quality applications that meet our requirements. This includes enabling developers to create, test, and deploy software applications. The DevRel team promotes knowledge sharing and collaboration to create a community of enabled developers. It empowers developers to take ownership of their work and contribute to our success.You will represent developer needs within the United States by providing technical support, building and maintaining our developer enablement solutions, and working with partner platform teams to ensure the platform meets their needs.This role is located in the US.You will report to a Engineering ManagerResponsibilities: Provide technical support to developers who are using platform services.Assist developers in building and deploying their applications.Troubleshoot issues and work with development teams to resolve problems.Collaborate with development teams to ensure the platform meets their needs.Maintain documentation and training materials for the platform.Stay up to date with new technologies and trends in the industry.Requirements: 6-8 years managing resources within cloud computing platforms such AWS6-8 years experience automating the software development lifecycle with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins (a must) and Spinnaker6-8 years the development, build, and deploy process for workloads including serverless, container-base, enterprise, and other application implementations.Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.Implemented and instrumented observability practices, tooling, and solutions, including Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, and NewRelic.Creation of technical documentation in the form of runbooks, notes, and engineering resources.Candidates with the following qualifications will be preferred: Experience or involvement in open-source software and communities.Enjoys speaking at conferences and developer communities.Relevant certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, and Certified Kubernetes Application Developer.If you are a motivated self-starter who is passionate about enabling developers to build great software, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a great work environment.Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $141,400 and $228,800. Offers are based on the candidates experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
