**Software Delivery Manager – Principal Software Engineer**

The Software Architecture and Incubation team in the Experiences Innovation Group is responsible for developing and delivering the next generation of innovative consumer and commercial experiences and proof-of-concepts that eventually feed our world-leading, world class client portfolio. Our portfolio spans software technologies across a wide range of customers, from consumers to small businesses, to large public institutions and corporations. The team spans a global workforce to deliver next-generation software application enhancements and new products for our changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications, and diagnostics all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies, and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

**What youll achieve**

As a Principal Software Engineer / Agile SW Delivery lead, you will be a part of a team in a very fast-paced, agile environment that requires strong technical ability, flexibility, sound judgment, and creative thinking. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with other technologists, architects, experience designers, product marketers, software developers, and validation engineers to create software incubations, reference architectures and software plaforms across client, edge and cloud. You will also have the opportunity to drive the delivery of world-class demos, proof-of-concepts and reference platforms in top consumer and enterprise shows including Dell Technologies World, CES and others.

**You will:**

* Manage the Agile software execution and delivery of several teams across software ideation, incubation and pre-concept / proof-of-concept studios and teams in the Experiences Innovation Group.

* Organize agile activities and refine agile processes alongside designers, software architects, software technologists, developers, strategists and product owners and executives.

* Manage and administer projects / spaces within the Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket/GIT)

* Schedule and drive execution of sprint-based agile activities including (but not limited to) user story refinement sessions, Scrum meetings, end-of-sprint demos and retrospectives.

* Create and track OKRs and Agile focused KPIs across Scrum teams

* Participate and align organizational Agile goals with pan-Dell Agile @ Scale initiatives

* Represent engineering teams in meetings with other functional teams to align the current state of development activities by reporting development progress, status, and issues

**Essential Requirements**

* 7+ years of overall software development and software delivery experience

* 4+ years of leading delivery in Agile sprint-based teams (i.e. scrum master or tech lead role)

* Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or related field

* Familiar with coding, testing, reviewing in C++ or C# for Windows software

* Ability to organize and manage multiple projects, setting priorities and being collaborative under bold timelines

* Proficiency in writing and reviewing requirements, functional specifications, and design documents

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

**Desirable Requirements**

* Agility to adapt to new environments, technologies, and processes quickly

* Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)

* Agile / Scrum Master certification(s)
