About the project, Adtran is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join its exciting Cloud-based Software-as-a-Service platforms, Intellifi® and Device Manager. The Intellifi is a product family that includes a large, scalable cloud-based and serverless backend, a front-end interfaces and a mobile app for iOS and Android for managing WiFi. It’s a flexible SaaS software that helps service providers manage, optimize and monetize with tools and insights to create different services, attract new subscribers and increase ARPU and ROI. Intellifi® MeshView is part of Intellifi®, Adtran’s complete connected home solution for CSPs. Some of the features of the Intellifi® MeshView are:, , SaaS solution enables deployment in < 24 hours, , Comprehensive telemetry, including WAN status, firmware versions, radio status, signal quality and device PHY rates, , Near real-time logs and event data, and historical data up to 30 days, , Virtual field technician to enable remote troubleshooting, cutting up to $1000 per truck roll, , Distributed servers to ensure GDPR and country-specific data privacy compliance

Your responsibilities, Perform or assist in high-level and low-level software design and implementation of new features and enhancements to existing software., Perform or assist in feasibility studies of needed software development., Document the design including features definition and architecture., Conduct and participate in design reviews and code reviews., Plan and perform unit, acceptance, and end-to-end level testing of implemented software modules and enhancements., Help fix software bugs found during all testing phases., Work with the team to deploy and test incremental software releases., Organize and coordinate development activities within schedule and product constraints., Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the Company.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education required., A minimum of 12 years of software engineering practice, with at least 4 years of experience in software architecture or equivalent roles., Strong ownership attitude and willingness to drive feature architecture and support the development teams during the implementation and integration process., Proven professional experience with software design, implementation and debugging., A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering., Experience with at least one modern web development framework (Angular, React)., Experience with at least one modern web development language (TypeScript, JavaScript)., Good knowledge, proven by experience, of Material Design Components, mockup systems like Figma and Storybook., Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)., Proficient in the Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) elements with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise, Artifactory, AWS, Kubernetes., Experience with at least one modern test frameworks (Jest, pyTest, Selenium)., Knowledge of AWS SaaS deployments, setup and aspects like system’s multi-tenancy, scalability and security., At least B2 English proficiency level., Excellent teamwork abilities and effectiveness in cross-site communication.
