Nightwing is seeking a Procurement Specialist . This position is primarily responsible for sourcing, negotiating, awarding, documenting, and managing suppliers for both material and service-based requirements. In this role, the individual will be responsible for placing requirements on purchase order in the most efficient, cost effective and compliant manner.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Ensures that enterprise, prime contract, and category/product/service specific requirements are properly communicated to suppliers.

Analyzes supplier quotes/proposals.

Conduct formal negotiations (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions) to contractual requirements.

Manages supplier performance to cost, delivery, quality, technical and programmatic/contractual requirements.

Compiles and analyzes industry/market and Nightwing data to select suppliers.

Complies technical, quality, delivery, and contractual requirements to prepare/issues requests for quote (RFQ).

Interfaces with Nightwing and supplier cross-functional organizations.

Executes to Nightwing and customer requirements including government regulations (such as FAR/DFAR), public law and Nightwing policies/procedures.

The individual will work extensively with program teams, Material Program Managers, Subcontract Managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 8 years of relevant experience.

Ability to multi-task and perform in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment,

Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers and ability to perform effectively and independently in a virtual environment.

Proficiency to perform and comprehend price analyses, source selection/justification, with guidance as needed.

Experience w/ DOD procurements, thorough knowledge and experience with Government regulations and public law, and a strong compliance posture.

Experience placing POs of medium to high complexity with a high volume of POs across various programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Use standard computer systems focused on supplier management processes (SAP-PRISM)

Ability to filter information from multiple sources to drive innovative solutions.

Experience working with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Nightwing tools, as well as knowledge of supply chain processes.

Effective at influencing internal and external.

Must have strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.

Proven ability to collaborate across an organization and operate effectively within a matrix environment by resolving conflict and influencing others.

Ability to effectively manage job responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD – 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
